We Participated in the 15 July National Unity and Democracy Day Program organized by the Muş Governorship

15 July National Unity and Democracy Day was celebrated with a program held in Muş Municipality Square. Since our Rector Prof. Dr. Polat who visited the July 15 Martyrs Bridge and monument in Istanbul as part of the 15 July National Unity and Democracy Day, is out of the city, our Secretary General, Harun Demir, joined to this program by proxy. 

Along with the provincial protocol, our academic and administrative staff, heads of public institutions and organizations, representatives of political parties and NGOs participated in the program held in the municipality square.

In the program, the photography exhibition, which was opened with the participation of the protocol members, was also visited.

The program started with a moment of silence and the singing of the Turkish National Anthem, following the Address to the Nation program organized by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day at 21.00. It continued with the speeches of Dr. İlker Gündüzöz and Mayor Feyat Asya. The program continued with a poetry concert, a concert by the students of the Faculty of Fine Arts, a performance by the Janissary band and a closing prayer.

The 15 July National Unity and Democracy Day Program ended with a selah recited at 00:13.
