250 International Students from 21 Countries Begin Their Studies at Our University
In line with its vision of internationalization, Muş Alparslan University continues to attract students from around the world. In the 2025–2026 academic year, nearly 250 international students from 21 different countries have enrolled and officially started their education at the university.
This year’s incoming students include young people from countries such as Azerbaijan, Georgia, India, Egypt, Moldova, Nigeria, Russia, Somalia, Sudan, and Turkmenistan.
Commenting on the development, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican emphasized the value of diversity brought by international students to higher education institutions and stated:
“International students not only enrich the cultural fabric of our university but also contribute to strengthening the global exchange of knowledge and experience. Ensuring that students from different parts of the world feel at home here is a top priority for us. Muş Alparslan University remains firmly committed to offering an open, inclusive, and multicultural learning environment grounded in universal values.”
Rector Prof. Dr. Alican also noted that the growing number of international students enhances the university’s global visibility and plays a significant role in advancing its goal of becoming a regional center of attraction.
