Muş Alparslan University has joined the ranks of partner institutions in a significant international initiative supported under the Erasmus+ KA154 Youth Participation Programme, funded by the European Union. The project, titled “Future-Ready Minds: A Toolbox for Youth Employment in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”, has secured a grant of €59,952 from the Turkish National Agency.
Led by Osmaniye Korkut Ata University, the project brings together six higher education institutions: Abdullah Gül University, Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Karadeniz Technical University, Manisa Celal Bayar University, and Muş Alparslan University. The project is coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammet Baş, Head of the Project Support Module at the Osmaniye Korkut Ata University Technology Transfer Office. Representing Muş Alparslan University in the project is Dr. Gülten Çetintaş from the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
This dynamic, year-long project will kick off in Osmaniye, followed by a series of activities hosted by Abdullah Gül University, Karadeniz Technical University, Manisa Celal Bayar University, and Muş Alparslan University. The final event—a comprehensive summit where project outcomes and policy recommendations will be shared—will be held in Ankara, hosted by Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University.
The project aims to enhance youth literacy in artificial intelligence and digital competencies through workshops, panels, and hackathon events. Additionally, it seeks to connect young participants with local industry leaders to better understand labor market demands and prepare for the digital professions of the future.
By actively engaging in such international collaborations, Muş Alparslan University continues to create new opportunities for its students and contribute to regional development.
Project coordinators extended their gratitude to Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican for his unwavering support and contributions.
