Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican visited Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Dr. Devlet Bahçeli at MHP headquarters.

During the visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Alican expressed his gratitude for the "Fatih and Kök: Ahlat/Malazgirt Studies Institute," established  in MHP headquarters, and provided information about our university's academic research on the Victory of Malazgirt and the history of the region.

During the meeting, Rector Prof. Dr. Alican presented Dr. Bahçeli with his book, "Malazgirt Chronicles: In Pursuit of a Blessed Heritage," and the "Anadolu Mahfili" magazine, of which he is the editor.

During the visit, which took place in a cordial atmosphere, discussions were held on Turkey's vision for the future, the preservation of national and spiritual values, the transmission of historical awareness to new generations, and the roles universities can play in this process.
