We Celebrated April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day
23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day program, which was held for the 102nd time this year, was celebrated in Türk Telekom primary school.
Participants were governor of Muş Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlker Gündüzöz, Mayor Feyat Asya, deputy governors, Provincial garrison commander Colonel Serhat Ulucan, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel İlhan Şen, Provincial Police Chief Engin Kaloğlu, Provincial National Education Director Enver Kıvanç, public institution supervisors, teachers, students, press, and public. Since our Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat went to Van to attend the meeting held with the President of YÖK and the regional rectors, the dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Esin Kaya attended the program. The event, which started with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, continued with speeches stating the meaning and importance of the day. In the program, children recited poems emphasizing the meaning and importance of the day and presented various shows. After presenting gifts to successful students, the program ended with a visit to the painting exhibition.
