We attended the "Pasture Reclamation and Management Projects Evaluation Meeting".

Between 27 November - 01 December 2023, 328 projects from 69 Provincial Directorates of Agriculture and Forestry, 34 in the first group and 35 in the second group, were evaluated in the "Pasture Improvement and Management Projects Evaluation Meeting" planned in two groups.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, Vice Rector of Muş Alparslan University and Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Ali İhsan Emiralioğlu, Deputy General Director of Crop Production of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and Davut Özgür, Head of the Department of Meadow Pasture and Forage Crops. Following the opening programme, the projects planned to be implemented in 2024 were evaluated by the "Project Evaluation Board" consisting of the subject expert faculty members of Muş Alparslan University, Ege University, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Hatay Mustafa Kemal University and Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, the representative of the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies and the subject expert technical staff of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. In the closing speech of the project evaluation, Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ ended by explaining 9 items consisting of recommendations and suggestions to be given to the General Directorate of Crop Production of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in the pasture improvement and management projects to be carried out in the coming years.
