Visit to MAUN Rector from Veteran and Garrison Commander

Gazi İsmet Şahin and Muş Alparslan University Garrison Commander Alper Oflas paid a visit to MAUN Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican. The visit took place at the Rector's office, where Rector Alican personally expressed his gratitude to Gazi Şahin for their kind visit.

Gazi İsmet Şahin became a security guard in the Kızılağaç Village of the Central District of Muş Province in 1993. In 2004, he lost one of his sons in an explosion caused by a handmade bomb package sent to his home by members of a terrorist organization. He himself lost both of his eyes in this struggle.
