Vice-Rector visited the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry

Vice Rector of our University and Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ visited the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and gave information about the agricultural activities carried out by our University.

Vice-Rector and Dean of Faculty of Applied Sciences Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, during his visit to the Ministry, gave information about the agricultural activities of our University to important names such as Prof. Dr. Selahattin Çınar, Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Uğur Erdem, General Director of Crop Production, İhsan Emiralioğlu, Deputy General Director of Crop Production, Ergin Çilali, Head of Administrative Affairs and Coordination Department of General Directorate of Crop Production, and Mehmet Ali Ünverdi, Head of Risk Assessment Department of General Directorate of Food and Control, and exchanged ideas about the projects in the new period.

Expressing his satisfaction with the cooperation between our University and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Karadağ continued his words as follows; "As Muş Alparslan University, we are a Pilot State University in the field of animal husbandry within the scope of Regional Development Oriented Mission Differentiation and Specialisation Programme and we are taking rapid steps in this field. In addition, with a decision taken by the Council of Higher Education, our university has been declared as a Joint Application and Research Centre for Meadow Pasture and Forage Crops in Roughage. Under the chairmanship of our university, Çukurova University, Dicle University and Ondokuz Mayıs University have started to work in cooperation and partnership." Karadağ also conveyed the greetings and success wishes of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, Rector of our University, to the Ministry officials during the meetings.
