University Table Tennis Tournament Awards Ceremony Held
The third edition of the "Table Tennis Tournament," organized by the Health, Culture, and Sports Directorate of our university, took place from December 5 to 13 in the university's Indoor Sports Hall, featuring approximately 60 matches. A total of 125 students participated in the tournament.
The final matches and award ceremony were attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, Rector's Advisors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özalper, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atike Yılmaz, Health, Culture, and Sports Directorate Head Şükrü Çobanoğlu, along with academic staff and students.
In the women's category, Nursel Şimşek secured the first place, followed by Gönül Akdağ in second place, and Berfin Tinç in third place. In the men's category, Serkan Açar claimed the first position, Mikail Körman took the second position, and Ahmet Yüce secured the third position. Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican presented trophies and medals to the winning athletes during the award ceremony.
