Unimpeded Cinema Days at our university
Our university, which attaches importance to social projects for disabled people, organised "Audio Description Cinema Days" event in 1071 Malazgirt Congress and Culture Center D Hall in cooperation with Muş Alparslan University Disability Unit and Disabled Exercise and Sports Sciences Department under the coordination of Rector Advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atike Yılmaz.
On the occasion of 3 December World Disability Day, an 'Empathy Track' was established in front of the congress centre D hall within the scope of the slogan "Understanding Individuals with Visual Impairment" in order to draw attention to the difficulties experienced by the disabled and to raise awareness. Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, Rector Assist. Prof. Dr. Kenan Yıldırım, Rector Assist. Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, Rector Advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özalper, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Prof. Dr. Sabit Duman, institutional chiefs participated in the awareness event and drew attention to the difficulties experienced by the disabled people by taking the place of the disabled people with visual impairment and physical disability and empathising.
