'Training Education'' Master's Program with Thesis Opened

A new graduate program aiming to train qualified scientists specializing in movement and training was opened within the Social Sciences Institute of Muş Alparslan University.

The Department of Coaching Education Master Program with Thesis, which aims to train experts who will take part in the development processes of features such as strength, speed, endurance, activity and flexibility, which are the determinants of sportive performance, and the effectiveness of these development processes, waits its students.

Candidates will take postgraduate courses such as Conditioning and Training Methods, Advanced Training Theories, Exercise and Sports Physiology, Sports Nutrition, Sports Biomechanics and Movement Analysis, Exercise Program Development, Diet and Weight Control, Rehabilitation in Sports Injuries, and Biostatistics. Students who successfully complete all of their courses and successfully defend their master's thesis will be entitled to a master's degree with thesis in the field of Coaching Education.

Candidates who will come to the level of expertise in coaching education will gain specific competencies such as, to produce solutions in unforeseen situations that athletes will encounter in training, to follow the current developments in the fields of sports science and to contribute to the field with their studies, to bring academic and practical solutions to the deficiencies in the field of Coaching Education, to solve the problems that require expertise in sports in accordance with scientific research methods, to follow national and international scientific developments related to the coaching profession, and making special training plans. Graduates will have the opportunity to be employed in a wide range of fields from sports clubs to academia.
