The Theater Play "Commander" was staged at MAUN

Directed by Yakup Keskin and organized as a joint event of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and MAUN the theater play "Commander" met with theatergoers at 1071 Malazgirt Congress and Culture Center of the university.

The play which is about the love of the Prophet Muhammad and how Fahreddin Pasha, who was in charge of defending Medina after the signing of the Armistice of Mudros, resisted the enemy forces even though he was called back to Istanbul gave the audience emotional moments. 
In addition to the Rector Prof. Fethi Ahmet Polat, Deputy Governor Hasan Taş, the Vice Rectors Prof. Yaşar Karadağ and Prof. Ulaş Çaydaş, the Secretary General Harun Demir, the Deans and principals, Muş Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Emrullah Güler, Muş National Education Director Enver Kıvanç, the university's academic and administrative staff and students attended to the theater play.

The Rector Prof. Polat expressing his satisfaction with the event, stated, " I would like to thank all the personnel working behind the scenes and contributing to the play which demonstrated the heroic resistance of the Desert Tiger Fahrettin Pasha defending Medina and the intrigues of the British spy Lawrence there as well as the Governorship of Muş Province and to Muş Youth and the Provincial Directorate of Sports for enabling this meaningful theatrical play to be staged at our university. We will continue such social activities in the future.”
The theater play ended after the presentation of gifts to the artists by the protocol, thank you speech and a group photo shoot.
