The “Inter-University Ski North Discipline Turkey Championship” Hosted by Our University Ends with The Award Ceremony
The Inter-University Ski North Discipline Turkey Championship, which was held on February 15-16 under the coordination of our University’s Faculty of Sports Sciences and the Department of Health and Culture, ends with the winning teams and athletes receiving their awards. At the same time, while the last day of the organization witnesses colourful scenes, our University Faculty of Arts and Sciences Res. Assist. “The Smile on Our Guests Makes Us Happy”
Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Prof. Dr Alper Karadağ, who expresses his satisfaction with the championship hosted by our university, says that “As the Faculty of Sports Sciences, we have become a faculty preferred by the successful athletes of the region. Prof. Dr Alper Karadağ further states that “The smile on our guests who participated in the organization makes us happy as the host. We will show our success in ski running in all branches this year. I congratulate the participating universities.”

Stating that the support given to the Inter-University Ski North Discipline Turkey Championship, which was held for the second time in Muş, our Rector Prof. Dr Fethi Ahmet Polat says, “We want to organize bigger events hosted by our university.” Furthermore, Prof. Dr Fethi Ahmet Polat underlines that cross-country skiing is one of the particular branches with a high degree of difficulty. However, he also states that Muş has a significant potential for cross-country skiing.
