The Increase in MAUN’s Scientific Studies Has Been Registered

The increase in the number of scientific studies conducted at our university has been confirmed by SCImago Institutions, which has been publishing the international ranking of universities since 2009.

TAPKOB, which carries out its activities in the fields of science, technology and projects within our university, continues to support our academics in their scientific studies with all the opportunities provided by the bilateral cooperation agreements with its stakeholders. With these supports, the increase in the number of scientific studies conducted at our university has been confirmed by SCImago Institutions, which has been publishing the international ranking of universities since 2009.

According to the report published by SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR), Publication Evaluation Platform in 2021, our university, ranking 81st in Turkey, achieved an important academic success in 2022 and rose to the top ranks and ranked 61st in Turkey.

On a departmental basis, it ranked 28th in Turkey in the field of food engineering, 20th in chemistry and 44th in mathematics. These data show that the success of our University has increased not only in the regional ranking, but also in the country ranking.

TAPKOB coordinator Prof. Ulaş Çaydaş states: “We can see from these data that the promotion of scientific studies, the effective presentation of project design, laboratory and research opportunities to the service of academics contribute to the scientific quality of our University day by day.” Expressing that these studies will continue to increase Çaydaş thanked MAUN Rector Prof. Fethi Ahmet Polat for his support on this issue.
