Success of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Tan in TÜBİTAK 2219 Program
Our university's School of Technical Sciences, Department of Food Processing, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Tan, is making a significant contribution to an important research project at Massachusetts University in the United States (USA) with the support received from TÜBİTAK's prestigious 2219 Overseas Postdoctoral Research Fellowship program.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Tan has been granted support from TÜBİTAK for her research titled "Design and in vitro and in vivo applications of new binary antimicrobial-loaded nanoemulsions for the treatment of bacterial wound biofilms" for a duration of 12 months. This study aims to develop new solutions in combating chronic wounds.
Providing insights into the project, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan stated that their research at Massachusetts University will focus on designing new antimicrobial compounds and preparing suitable nanoemulsions to address challenging chronic wounds. Furthermore, she emphasized that this research will enhance the international recognition of Muş Alparslan University in the scientific community and contribute to the development of new projects and collaborations.
