Rector Polat Attended "Regional Development-Oriented University Visits" Meeting

Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat attended the "Regional Development-Oriented University Visits" meeting, which was held to exchange experiences and to monitor the activity performances of the universities within the scope of the "Regional Development-Oriented Mission Differentiation Program" carried out by the Council of Higher Education (CoHE).

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University hosted the meeting chaired by CoHE President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar. Within the scope of the "Regional Development-Oriented Mission Differentiation Program" carried out by CoHE, 5 pilot universities were selected in 2016, 5 universities in 2018 and another 5 universities in 2020, reaching a total of 15 universities. In the meeting hosted by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, the number of universities in the program increased to 22 as a result of the inclusion of 7 more universities in the program.
Visit to MAKÜ Stadium 

Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ also made various examinations at the workshop of the "Women's Hands Touched Football" project, which was initiated with the cooperation of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKU) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports (GSB), at the MAKÜ Stadium.

Rector Polat, who made a series of examinations in the workshop of the "Women's Hands Touched Football" project, which encourages women's participation in the workforce, took a souvenir photo after chatting with the trainees.
