"Rector Alican in Bingöl for the 'International Honey Summit and Fair' Program
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, participated in the events organized within the scope of the 'International Honey Summit and Fair' held in Bingöl, where the President of the Higher Education Council (YÖK), Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, was also present. Our Rector was accompanied by our university's advisor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özalper, during the Bingöl University program.
The opening program of the Bingöl International Honey Summit and Fair, which will take place between November 17th and 19th, hosting domestic and international honey producers along with various panels, competitions, and events, commenced with a folk dance performance. Our Rector, who participated in the program, which also included the Opening Ceremony for the 2023-2024 Academic Year of Bingöl University, listened to the protocol speeches at the opening ceremony held at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Congress Center, delivered by the Rector of Bingöl University, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Çapak, Bingöl Mayor Erdal Arıkan, Bingöl Governor Ahmet Hamdi Usta, and YÖK President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar.
Following the program, Rector Alican met with YÖK President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, presenting information about our university's activities and campus, inviting Özvar to visit Muş Alparslan University to inspect and share information. Expressing gratitude for the gracious invitation, Özvar stated their intention to visit our university in the shortest time possible
