Rector Alican has hosted Malazgirt Mayor Altın

Malazgirt Mayor Cengiz Altın, who visited Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican in his office, congratulated Rector Alican on his new position and wished him success. Rector Alican thanked Altın for his kind visit and expressed their intention to work together on great projects for Malazgirt.

Rector Alican mentioned that the surface research project, aimed at pinpointing the area where the Battle of Malazgirt took place, was initiated in June 2020. He stated that surface research was conducted in the central district of Malazgirt and various villages, and expressed his expectation for continued support from Altın, who has been supportive of the project team until now.

The visit concluded after the presentation of a gift.
