Our University has made a preliminary application for the EEIPBP Project
Our university made a preliminary application to the "Energy Efficiency Implementations in Public Buildings Project" (EEIPBP) carried out by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, in order to increase the energy efficiency of the 1st stage buildings of the indoor sports hall, library and central classrooms.
Expressing that the preliminary application procedures have been made for the EEIPBP project funded by the World Bank and carried out by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Vice Rector Ulaş Çaydaş stated that the individual electricity and natural gas consumptions of the buildings in our complex are calculated, the energy identity documents of all our buildings are issued and our buildings that meet the necessary conditions to increase efficiency within the scope of EEIPBP are entered into the system.
Rector Fethi Ahmet Polat said that if found eligible by the ministry officials who will examine our buildings, it is possible for the buildings to benefit from many innovations to increase efficiency such as thermal insulation, window changes, mechanical room revisions, LED lighting, panel installations, air conditioning centralization, hot water boiler changes, building automation, and fixtures. He stated that they would follow the process closely.
