Our Rector Participates in the Sugar Beet Procurement Campaign Opening
Governor Avni Çakır, Deputy Mayor Muhterem Bozkurt, Colonel Mehmet Kasım Ermiş - the Provincial Gendarmerie Commander, our University's Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, Vice-Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences Yaşar Karadağ, Chief of Police Serkan Karaman, Agriculture and Forestry Director Mehmet Gün, along with public officials and farmers, attended the 42nd sugar beet procurement campaign organized by Muş Sugar Production Industry Inc.
The sugar beet procurement campaign, which began with prayers, ribbon-cutting, and a sacrificial ceremony, saw the presentation of various gifts to farmers who were the first to deliver sugar beets to the factory. Governor Çakır delivered the opening speech for the campaign.
