Our Rector attended the 2024-2025 Higher Education Academic Year Opening Ceremony

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican attended the 2024-2025 Higher Education Academic Year Opening Ceremony.

Our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Talat Körpınar, Director of Vocational School of Technical Sciences Assist. Prof. Fatih Şevgin, History Department Faculty Member Dr. Esra Çıplak and our students also attended the ceremony.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the ceremony. In his speech, President Erdoğan stated that education has been the top priority agenda item since the day they came to power. Erdoğan said, ‘Since the day we took over the duty of governing the country with the trust of the nation, we have placed education at the top of our agenda. We have determined the improvement of the Turkish education system at every stage from pre-school to higher education as our main priority. We have decisively implemented many regulations in a wide range that seem impossible when we look back today. The number of higher education institutions, which was 76 in 2002, has reached 208 as of today.’
