Our New Logo Has Been Introduced

Our university's new logo and corporate identity designs were introduced in a ceremony.

The ceremony held at 1071 Malazgirt Congress and Culture Center opened with the Turkish National Anthem. Then, the winner of the logo competition, Zuhal Sarı, expressed her feelings and thoughts via teleconference. The event in which the provincial officials were present continued with the speech of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat. In addition to the academic and administrative staff of Muş Alparslan University, local people also showed interest in the ceremony, and the promotional film were widely acclaimed by the guests.

The Governor of Muş, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlker Gündüzöz, gave a speech in the event. Expressing that the new logo was very well-designed and contains many symbols of the province in terms of content, Mr. Gündüzöz stated that it was quite important for the university to train quality students reflecting its new meaningful logo. The Governor of Konya, Vahdettin Özkan, who is an important representative of Muş in Turkish bureaucracy also attended the ceremony as a guest. Plaques were presented to Dr. Mehmet Ferruh Haşıloğlu, Lecturer Serdar Dik and Lecturer Ahmet Çiçek for their contributions to the whole process. The plaque of Zuhal Sarı, the winner of the logo competition, were presented on her behalf to Tuğba Adıgüzel, our university's Director of Media, Publications and Public Relations.
