New TÜBİTAK-2219 Project from Our University!
Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail Dönmez's research from our University's Bulanık Vocational School Child Development Program has been accepted as the TÜBİTAK-2219 Overseas Research Project.
As part of the TÜBİTAK-2219 Overseas Research Project, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail Dönmez will conduct a study at the Faculty of Education, University of Helsinki, focusing on "The effects of interdisciplinary STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities in virtual learning environments on pre-service teachers' technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) and technology acceptance (Technology Acceptance Model - TAM)."
The research will center on the development of skills and attitudes towards technology use among pre-service teachers in Finland and Turkey, while evaluating the differences between the education systems and teacher training approaches of the two countries. Expected to last for 9 months, the research is anticipated to make significant contributions to the field, building upon previous studies on experiential learning in virtual learning environments.
