New Research Dean’s Office to Be Established at Our University

Under the proposal of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, a significant step has been taken to strengthen research and scientific activities at our university. In this context, a meeting was held to draft the Research Dean’s Office Guidelines and establish a Research Dean’s Office within the university.

The Rector emphasized that the primary goal of the Research Dean’s Office is to enhance the university’s research potential, provide greater support for academic projects, encourage scientific endeavors, and expand collaboration networks at both national and international levels.

Following thorough evaluations, it was unanimously agreed that establishing a Research Dean’s Office would be a suitable and beneficial step. The decision was approved to be submitted to the Higher Education Council (YÖK) for further review, and the necessary documentation has been sent for assessment.

With the establishment of the Research Dean’s Office, the university aims to conduct research and innovation activities more systematically and efficiently.
