"Nature Enthusiasts Gathered at 'Mountaineering' Themed Exhibition at Our University
Muş Governor Avni Çakır and our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, attended the opening of the "Mountaineering" themed photo exhibition organized by the Turkish Mountaineering Federation under the auspices of our university, which has received awards at international platforms.
The "Mountaineering" themed photo exhibition held at our University Congress and Culture Center was attended by Muş AFAD Provincial Director Taha Yasin Çekiç, Muş Youth and Sports Provincial Director Mehmet Arif Taşdemir, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Yıldırım, Rector Advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özalper, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atike Yılmaz, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ender Can Dönmez, Secretary General Harun Demir, Deputy Secretary Generals Serhan Demir, Uğur İnan Kaki, Head of health, culture and sports department Şükrü Çobanoğlu, Administrative and Financial Affairs Department Head Bengü Şekeroğlu, Turkish Mountaineering Federation Board Member Mehmet Çağlayan, coaches, mountaineers, academic and administrative staff, and students.
After inspecting mountaineering equipment, our Rector Alican toured the photo exhibition and then participated in a seminar on mountaineering topics of interest led by professional mountaineers, after receiving information about the exhibited photos from TDF Board Member Mehmet Çağlayan.
Visiting the tents where mountaineers from different cities of our country participated in the "Winter Mountaineering Training Camp" on our campus, our Rector Alican expressed his gratitude to everyone involved, stating that they came together at this event to share and explore the beauties of nature with their passion for mountaineering.
