MSU has signed New Collaborations within the Scope of "Erasmus International Credit Mobility Project"

Muş Alparslan University has started cooperation with partner universities in Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Palestine, Ukraine and Kazakhstan within the scope of Erasmus International Credit Mobility Project (KA107), which allows student and staff exchange with other non-member partner countries as well as with European Union countries.

Within the scope of this project, guests from Kosovo Universum College were hosted between 23-26 August 2021. Within the framework of Erasmus+ KA107 Project Staff Training Mobility, the academic and administrative delegation of 7 people from Universum College was welcomed by the Erasmus Office officials of our university. During the 4-day visit, guests were informed about our university and views were exchanged on possible collaborations. After the visits to our university campus and the historical and natural beauties of Muş and the gifts presented, the Kosovo delegation left our university.

Providing information on the subject, Erasmus Institution Coordinator Inst. Yahya Adanır stated the following: “As the Erasmus Office, two of our projects that we presented to the Turkish National Agency in both 2020 and 2021 were entitled to receive grants. Due to the pandemic, we could not put into practice our projects, which cover mutual student and personnel exchange with one higher education institution in Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Palestine, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, with a budget of approximately 250 thousand euros. However, with the transition of many countries to face-to-face education starting from the 2021-2022 academic year, we have started to implement our projects gradually. In this context, we first hosted a delegation of 7 academic and administrative staff from our project partner, Kosova Universum College. During this academic year, we will also exchange students and staff with our other project partner countries. Our partner institutions will choose the students and staff who will participate in the exchange program under our coordination. As MSU, we will soon make an announcement for the students and staff we will send to our partner countries. Within the scope of these projects, a total of 36 personnel and 15 students from our institution will benefit from these activities. On the other hand, the same number of students and staff from our partner countries will participate in the mobility in our institution. As the Erasmus Office, we will continue to work to ensure the continuation of these projects, which we believe will contribute greatly to the internationalization of our university.”
