MAUN to mark TEKNOFEST
Students from MAUN will participate in TEKNOFEST, the biggest award-winning Technology Competition in the history of Turkey, with 39 different categories from Rocket to Autonomous Systems, Artificial Intelligence to Underwater Systems, with 6 projects in the UAV category, as well as 2 projects in the Artificial Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence in Transportation categories.
The students of our university, who will participate in the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, which will take place in the Black Sea Region between August 30 and September 4, with 9 different categories and 12 teams, aim to find solutions to the problems that may be encountered in the field of health and transportation, to increase their knowledge and trained manpower, with 2 projects in the categories of “Artificial Intelligence” and “Artificial Intelligence in Transportation”.
Encouraging students to participate in TEKNOFEST, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ulaş Çaydaş said, “As the university, we provide technical support to our teams through our advisors, in addition to providing sponsor support in this process. We aim to increase the number of our teams every year in the organization, which contributes to their professional development by transferring knowledge and skills to our students in different fields. I would like to thank Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat, who does not leave our students and us alone and follows the projects from the beginning to the end."
