MAUN to Host Turkish National Cross-Country Skiing Championship

The Turkish National Cross-Country Skiing Championship, organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation, will be hosted by Mus Alparslan University on 17-18 February 2022.

Making a statement on the event, Şükrü Çobanoğlu, Head of the Department of Health, Culture and Sports at MAUN, said, “We held the Turkish National Cross-Country Skiing Championship in 2020 enthusiastically with the participation of our stakeholder institutions and along with a 'Snow Festival'.  Now, we are happy to host the Turkish Championship again with the same enthusiasm this year.” 

Mr. Çobanoğlu then expressed his thanks to MAUN Rector, Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat, MAUN Secretary General, Harun Demir, the Dean of Faculty of Sport Sciences, Prof. Dr. Alper Karadağ, and the Turkish University Sports Federation for their significant contributions to bringing this important event back to Mus and MAUN.
