MAUN Rector Attended the 184th Anniversary Celebration Ceremonies of the Gendarmerie
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican participated in the program organized by the provincial gendarmerie command due to the 184th anniversary of the establishment of the Gendarmerie.
In addition to our Rector, Governor Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlker Gündüzöz, Muş Deputy Mayor Aydın Özarslan, Elazığ 8th Corps Commander Major General Tamer Atay, Muş Chief Public Prosecutor Hüseyin Yavuz, Provincial Police Chief Engin Kaloğlu, corporate chiefs and citizens attended.
In the ceremony, which started with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, speeches were made on the meaning and importance of the day, followed by a zeybek game, karate show, the intervention of the gendarmerie teams against a group of activists as per the scenario, and a commando demonstration march.
The program ended with the participants visiting the gendarmerie equipment and photography exhibition.
