Maun Quality Commission held the second meeting of 2023

The Quality Commission of our University convened on behalf of our Rector under the chairmanship of our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Yıldırım in Hall E of 1071 Congress and Culture Centre on Thursday, 07.12.2023 at 11.00 am.

MAUN Vice Rector for Quality Prof. Dr. Kenan YILDIRIM "emphasised the importance of the Quality Commission in quality processes and asked for support from the Commission members for the dissemination and implementation of the process in their units as well as the contribution of the Commission members to the quality process of our University".

Afterwards, he briefly mentioned the agenda of the meeting and left the floor to Quality Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selçuk Sağır. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selçuk Sağır shared information about how they organise quality processes as Quality Coordinator and made a presentation on the Quality Assurance Guide, Quality Policy and surveys prepared to improve quality processes and the prepared studies were presented to the Quality Commission Members for evaluation. After the evaluations, the Quality Assurance Guide, Quality Policy and questionnaires were unanimously accepted. In addition, evaluations were made and decisions were taken regarding Sub-Policy Texts, KIDR Sub-Working Groups and Quality Commission Sub-Commissions. Finally, consultations were held on the issues of Leadership, Governance and Quality, Education and Training, Research and Development and Social Contribution in order to increase the quality levels of our University to national and international quality standards, and the meeting was concluded by receiving opinions and suggestions.
