Inter-University Basketball Tournament Rankings Revealed
The 'Inter-University Women's and Men's Basketball Tournament,' organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation with our university hosting teams from Van Yüzüncüyıl University, Dicle University, and Mardin Artuklu University, concluded yesterday with intense matches.
The last day of basketball matches at the Muş Youth Services New Sports Hall featured competitive games. In the men's category, Dicle University claimed the top spot, followed by Muş Alparslan University in second place and Van Yüzüncüyıl University in third place. In the women's category, Van Yüzüncü Yıl University secured the first position, Mardin Artuklu University came in second, and Muş Alparslan University finished third.
The tournament was attended by Deputy Governors Cihat Abukan and Mustafa Batuhan Alpboğa, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, Faculty of Sports Sciences Deputy Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Önder Şekeroğlu, Rector's Advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atike Yılmaz, Health, Culture, and Sports Department Head Şükrü Çobanoğlu, Prof. Dr. Alper Karadağ, Sports Provincial Director Mehmet Arif Taşdemir, our academics, students, and sports enthusiasts. At the end of the tournament, the winning teams were presented with trophies and medals.
