Important Collaboration between Kyrgyz State University and Muş Alparslan University

"Protocol of Cooperation in Science, Art, and Sports" has been signed between the 68-year-old "Kyrgyz State Physical Culture University," which was founded during the Soviet Union era in 1955 and played a leading role in the development of Kyrgyz sports, and Muş Alparslan University.


The protocol, signed by the Rector of Kyrgyz State Physical Culture University, Prof. Dr. Saitdin Azizbaev, who led the university to significant achievements both during and after the Soviet era, producing over 120 European, Asian, world, and Olympic champions, and the Rector of MAUN, Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat, aims to collaborate on various sports branches, sports education and training, joint organization of scientific activities such as international congresses, symposiums, panels, and forums, especially in Olympic and traditional sports. The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Türkmen, a faculty member of MAU who represented Rector Polat, in a symbolic ceremony.
Prof. Dr. Mehmet Türkmen, who has contributed significantly to the sports departments of Asian universities with numerous studies on traditional Turkish sports and was awarded an honorary professorship by Kyrgyz University, expressed his gratitude to both university rectors, stating that the signed protocol will make important contributions to Turkish and Kyrgyz sports.
Rector Polat, who expressed his hope that the signed protocol will pave the way for new academic studies, conveyed his gratitude to Rector Azizbaev and stated that they would like to host him in Muş as soon as possible.
