Great Success from the Students of the Department of Food Processing at Muş Alparslan University Vocational School of Technical Sciences: 1st Food Science Event was Organised

Muş Alparslan University Vocational School of Technical Sciences, Department of Food Processing students attracted attention with their successful 1st Food Science Event.

 

Within the scope of the event, with the devoted work of 32 students for about a month and a half, a total of 27 different food products were produced in 5 different categories, 4 of which were original.

 

Lecturer Dr. Sefa IŞIK, the organiser of the event, stated that they focused on goals such as enabling students to transform their theoretical knowledge into practice and to gain self-confidence and improve their ability to work in a coordinated manner through this event. In the event sponsored by Mugi Markets and Rençberoğlu Peynircilik companies, important demands came from sector representatives for the commercial marketing of the products produced.

 

Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, Advisor to the Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özalper, Director of the Vocational School of Technical Sciences Assist. Prof. Dr. Fatih Şevgin and Head of the Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Tan are among the names supporting the organization. Prof. Dr. IŞIK thanked the students who organized the event, which was carried out with great effort and effort, and thanked the professors and technical staff who contributed to the success of the event.

 

Stating that the event will evolve into a more comprehensive and different concept in the future, Dr IŞIK stated that it is proud to have enthusiastic students working in the light of science. It was emphasized that the university will continue its efforts to provide students with practical experiences through such activities.
