Graduation Ceremony
Muş Alparslan University 2021-2022 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was held on Friday, June 24, 2022 with the participation of the provincial protocol at Prof. Dr. Sabahattin Zaim Conference Hall.
The first speech at the ceremony, which started with the singing of the National Anthem, was delivered by İbrahim Güngör, a student of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, who ranked first with an average of 3.89. In his speech, he thanked his family, teachers and University administration for their efforts.
Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat, who came together with the students at the graduation ceremony, said, “I want to call out to my young brothers who make this day meaningful.” In his speech, he summarized the following:
“There is no valuable gain from knowledge in the world. The Prophet said, "The highest of ranks is the rank of knowledge." Because ontologically and epistemologically, knowledge adds meaning and value to human. However, the fact that knowledge enriches people should not cause those who acquire knowledge to be proud and to fall into an elitist attitude.
Even though knowledge is valuable on its own, when it cannot be transmitted through generations and cultured as individual initiatives and social reflexes, it loses its productivity and remains as lumpen knowledge consisting of a flashy accessory that has not come out of puberty.
Schools are over, diplomas are received, a life from the most difficult to the most comfortable is lived one way or another; however, our humanity, which is the reason for our existence, cannot be neglected under any circumstances. In that case, consider being human and remaining human, living human and dying human as the greatest goal of your life in accordance with your nature, and draw your route accordingly after this time.

The Graduation Ceremony ended with a group photo shoot after the university's 1st place winner, İbrahim Güngör, stamped his name on the graduation log.
