Fourth National Action Plan on Combating Violence Against Women (2022-2025) Introduced at MAUN

Within the scope of introducing the Fourth National Action Plan (NAP) on Combating Violence Against Women (VAW) (2022-2025), a seminar was held by the Muş Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services at our university's Sabahattin Zaim Conference Hall.

The trainers including Özgür Oral, a social worker, and Sinem Şahin, a sociologist, both from the Center for Preventing and Monitoring Violence within the Muş Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services made a presentation on the road map formed to prevent any type of violence against women in accordance with the principle "zero tolerance for violence".

The event attracted a large audience including our rector's wife, Mrs. Nilufer Polat, and academic and administrative staff.
