Disability Week Awareness Activities

Awareness activities were held within the scope of 10-16 May Disabled Week under the coordination of Faculty of Sports Sciences, Department of Exercise and Sports Sciences for the Disabled.
The activities, which started with the empathy track in the Ceylan AVM in cooperation with Muş Provincial Directorate of Family Social Policies, continued with the bicycle tour attended by Ali Kuşçu Special Education Practice School students and with empathy tracks for disabled individuals.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atike Yılmaz, Head of Exercise and Sports Sciences for the Disabled, said, “These awareness activities improve the positive attitude and empathy of the society towards disabled people. We need to be aware of it all the time, not just on special occasions.”
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Murad Aydin Sanda, Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, Prof. Dr. Ulaş Çaydaş, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Prof. Dr. Alper Karadağ, our deans, heads of departments, faculty members, families and students attended the event.
