Broad Participation in the Gerontological Approach Congress

The 1st International Gerontological Approach Congress organized by the Faculty of Health Sciences of our university continues.

In the opening session of the 1st International Gerontological Approach Congress, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat, Head of the Department of Gerontology at Faculty of Health Sciences, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Efe and the Deputy Director General of Directorate General of Services for Persons with Disabilities and the Elderly, Coşkun Gürboğa gave speeches. On the first day of the congress, where there was active participation, 16 presentations were conducted, 6 of which were international.

The congress continues on 22.10.2021 (today) with workshops and oral presentations. The program, which is carried out through Zoom, can also be followed live on the YouTube platform.
