6. MAUN Students Achieve Unprecedented Success
In the Nazmi Avluca Senior Greco-Roman Wrestling Turkey Championship held from December 8th to 10th, our university's Faculty of Sports Sciences students, Murat Fırat in the 67 kg category and Ahmet Yılmaz in the 77 kg category, clinched the title of Turkey champions.
Meanwhile, our student Amed Oğlağo, selected for the cross-country skiing Olympic national team, is currently undergoing training in Livigno, Italy, as part of the season's first snow camp held from November 20th to December 5th. Oğlağo will represent our country in the international competition to be held in Erzurum from December 22nd to 24th. Expressing pride in our students, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican emphasized his wish for their continued success."
