Responsibilities of Individuals in Struggling with Drug Addiction Seminar Held

The seminar titled "Responsibilities of Individuals in Struggling Drug Addiction" was held at our University's Sabahattin Zaim Conference Hall in cooperation with the Vocational School of Technical Sciences (TBMYO), Muş Provincial Gendarmerie Command, Department of Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM), Narcotics Department and Muş Green Crescent. 

In the program, The formatter of Muş Green Crescent Fighting Addiction and Psychological Counselor Servet Bingöl informed our students about addiction and the fight against addiction.Sharing statistical data from Turkey and the world on addiction, Bingöl gave important information about the role of the Green Crescent in this fight. In addition, Narcotics Division Supervisor, Gendarmerie Senior Master Sergeant Osman Özçelik from Muş Provincial Gendarmerie Command, Department of Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) informed our students about the legal regulations and legislation in drug crimes. Then, the spectacular show and success of the narcotic dogs, who played an active role in the fight against drugs, received great applause. Gendarmerie Technical Sergeant Merve Bilen drew attention to the role of family and mothers in the fight against addiction during the presentation of the "Best Narcotics Police Mother Project" conducted by the Ministry of Interior.

The seminar was well attended. After the program, Certificates of Achievement were presented by Deputy Director Inst. Süleyman Yıldız and Seminar Coordinator Inst. Arif Karadağ on behalf of the Director of the Graduate School Asst. Prof. Eşref Alkış.
