Earthquake Awareness Training with Teacher Candidates in an Online Learning Environment-II
The “Earthquake Awareness Training with Teacher Candidates in an Online Learning Environment-II” project carried out at Muş Alparslan University Faculty of Education was accepted for the second time within the scope of 3rd Term TÜBİTAK 2237-A Scientific Education Activities Support.
Within the scope of the project, the importance of the digital approach in earthquake awareness education will be emphasized to prospective teachers and they will be equipped with Web 2.0-supported activity design skills. The project will be carried out in cooperation with Muş Alparslan University, with the participation of Trabzon University, Düzce University, Amasya University, Giresun University, Karadeniz Technical University, Muş Provincial Police Department and Rize-Fındıklı District National Education Directorate.
The project was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Ayça Kartal from the Faculty of Education, Department of Basic Education, Department of Classroom Education. Also, Assoc. Prof. Ayten Arslan, Assoc. Prof. Erdinç Öcal, Assist. Prof. İskender Dölek; Instructor Zeyneb Türkoğlu; Research Assistant Betül Gökce and Hatice Büşra Yılmaz Tam from the Faculty of Education; Assist. Prof. Cuma Fidan from the Faculty of Health Sciences; Assist. Prof. Nihal Dulkadir Yaman from the Faculty of Applied Sciences took part in the project. The project aims to provide online earthquake awareness training for Classroom Teachers, Social Studies Teachers and Science Teacher candidates.
