Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the Founder of Our Republic, Commemorated with Respect

Commander-in-Chief Ghazi Mustafa Kemal was commemorated with a ceremony on the 83rd anniversary of his death.

In the commemoration activities, which started with the laying of a wreath at the Atatürk Monument in front of the Muş Government Office, the participants in the ceremony held a two-minute silence in the spiritual presence of Atatürk at 09.05. After the moment of silence, the national anthem was sung, and our flag was lowered to half. The commemoration ceremony continued in the conference hall of Muş Teachers’ House after the events.

Besides Prof. Fethi Ahmet Polat who represented our university, Muş Governor Assoc. Dr. İlker Gündüzöz, Mayor Feyat Asya, Garrison Commander Infantry Colonel Serhat Ulusoy, Chief Public Prosecutor Hüseyin Yavuz, Police Chief Engin Kaloğlu, Gendarmerie Commander Gendarmerie Colonel İlhan Şen, public institution chiefs, military officials, representatives of non-governmental organizations, teachers, students and the people of Muş attended the event organized by Muş Science High School.

The activities, which started with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, continued with a cinevision show about the life of the Great Leader Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk after speeches stating the meaning and importance of the day. The commemoration ceremony ended with the presentation of the oratorio prepared by the students and the reading of the poems.

We Commemorated Our Ancestor

The Founder of the Republic of Turkey, the Great Leader, was also commemorated in our university. On the occasion of the 83rd anniversary of the founder of our Republic, Great Leader Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, 10 November Atatürk Commemoration Day Program was held in Prof. Sabahattin Zaim conference hall. In the program, Prof. Sabit Duman and Assist. Prof.  Elçin Neciyev made a speech. Our academic and administrative staff and students showed interest in the program.

We commemorate the founder of our Republic, Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with respect and gratitude.
