Rector's Visit to Ahlat

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, Malazgirt District Governor Göksu Bayram and Malazgirt Project team visited Ahlat Seljuk Cemetery, Emir Bayındır Cluster, Ahlat Ruin City and Ahlat Excavation House.

During the visit, Ahlat Seljuk Cemetery and Old Ahlat City Excavation Head Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kulaz presented a book as a gift to our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican.

Our Rector expressed his pleasure to visit these historical places and emphasised that Ahlat has an important place in Turkey's cultural heritage. Stating that he appreciated the efforts to protect and promote the Ahlat Seljuk Cemetery, our Rector wished Dr. Mehmet Kulaz and his team success.
