Theater Days Begin
Our university will bring five plays by significant playwrights from the world theater repertoire to the people of Muş for fifteen days for free, performed by Malatya Turgut Özal University Department of Performing Arts students, between January 18 and 22.
Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican emphasized the significant contributions of universities to the social, cultural, and economic life of cities, stating that this event aims to add a cultural touch to our city. Rector Alican stated, "Our university is making great efforts not only in scientific activities but also to reveal the economic and cultural potential of our city. Within this framework, we aim to contribute to the cultural texture of our city with the artistic events we organize." He also expressed, "With this theater festival, we aim to offer the people of Muş an experience filled with art. In the future, we will continue to revitalize cultural and artistic activities in our city by organizing similar events. We invite all Muş residents and those coming from neighboring provinces to the events. We look forward to the support of everyone who joins us."
Organized under the coordination of Dr. Ender Can Dönmez, the director of the Muş Alparslan University Center for Continuing Education, and the general artistic direction of Instructor Mehmet Önder from Malatya Turgut Özal University, the plays will be staged at the 1071 Malazgirt Congress and Culture Center Hall at 19:00 between January 18 and 22.
