Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican of Muş Alparslan University Receives World 2nd Wrestler İsmail Culfa at His Office

Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican of Muş Alparslan University received wrestler İsmail Culfa, who achieved a significant success in the Turkish World Universities Sports Games and secured the second place worldwide, at his office. During the visit, the athlete presented the trophies and medals he won to Rector Alican.

Ismail Culfa, a student at the Faculty of Sports Sciences, secured the title of World 2nd in the Greco-Roman style 63 kg category in the Turkish World Universities Sports Games held in Turkistan, Kazakhstan. Moreover, our Greco-Roman style National Team became CHAMPIONS in the team classification.

During the visit, along with Rector Alican, the Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Prof. Dr. Sabit Duman, Rector's Advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atike Yılmaz, Head of Coaching Education Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Türker, and Head of Sports Facilities Department Şükrü Çobanoğlu were also present. On this significant achievement, the university administration congratulated and extended their support to athlete İsmail Culfa.
