Our University was in the field on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities – 3 December

Sports activities organized by the Department of Exercise and Sports for the Disabled at the Faculty of Sport Sciences and the Directorate of Ali Kuşçu Special Education Practice School attracted great attention on the 3rd of December, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.  

In the event that was organized by the Head of Exercise and Sports for the Disabled Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Atike Yılmaz and the director of Ali Kuşçu Special Education Practice School Serdar Koç, our special children and Veterans Muş Sports Football Team played a friendly match. After the competition, the music concert performed by the students of Ali Kuşçu Special Education Practice School was also applauded.  

Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat expressed his satisfaction with the active participation of the students of the Exercise and Sports Department for the Disabled in the event. He stated that as in every field, cooperation between universities and institutions is important in the training of children and youth with special needs, and that Muş Alparslan University is one of the leading universities among state universities in this field and serves as a model for the universities in the region.  

Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat, Deputy Governor Hasan Taş, Mayor Feyat Asya, Director of National Education Enver Kıvanç, Dean of Faculty of Sport Sciences Prof. Dr. Alper Karadağ and Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Kırımoğlu attended the event.
