Collaboration for an Inclusive Future: Visit from Muş Physically Disabled Association to Our Rector

The President of Muş Physically Disabled Association, Bedri Korkmaz, and his delegation visited our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, to discuss the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities in their education and life processes.

During the visit, discussions centered around increasing awareness about disabilities, strengthening the integration of disabled students into university life, and identifying steps to overcome barriers.

President Bedri Korkmaz shared the association's projects and proposed solutions to the issues faced by disabled individuals with our Rector. Topics of discussion included creating disability-friendly campuses, making improvements in accessibility, and adapting educational materials to suit disabled students.

Our Rector emphasized the importance of providing equal opportunities and support for disabled individuals in university life, discussing potential steps that the university can take in this regard. This meeting between the two parties was considered a significant step toward protecting the rights of disabled individuals, increasing societal awareness, and creating a more inclusive educational environment.
