Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat Held a Meeting with the New Students

Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat held a meeting with the new students to help them adapt to the MAUN, to guide them academically, and to learn whether they have any complaints and suggestions.

In his speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat wished the students success in their lives, offered solutions to the problems they might encounter in their new lives, and made various recommendations. Prof. Dr. Polat stated that a long longing came to an end with the start of face-to-face education after the COVID-19 epidemic and reminded the students to pay maximum attention to masks, distance and cleanliness in the complex and classrooms. Besides, he expressed that the vaccine is our most important tool in terms of changing the course of the pandemic and mentioned the necessity of our students to be vaccinated so that they do not get the disease and underlined that the recommendations of the scientific committee on these issues are vital.

Rector Prof. Dr. Polat answered the questions of the students and wished all students success in their mid-term exams. Also, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Murad Aydin Sanda, Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, Prof. Dr. Ulaş Çaydaş and Deputy Secretary General Ferit Uslu attended the meeting.
