OUR VISION
Our vision is to catch up international standards in the area of education-training, investigation-improvement and scientific publication and execution; to take place among the distinguished universities of the World and Turkey; to teach ways of accessing to information; to contribute to the cultural, scientific and technological life of our province and country by integrating into whole society; to strengthen the collaboration of university and society; to be a developed modern university which has universal values, is appropriate to the global world standards, make use of its available physical place, equipment, brain drain and knowledge. Muş Alparslan University is one of seventeen universities established by the Act No.5662 in 28th May, 2007 with the consent of Ahmet Necdet Sezer, the President of Turkey. MUŞ VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
Muş Vocational High School was established by the name of Fırat University in 1987. Our Vocational High School that started its academic year with the Program of Stock Farming had Construction Program in 1988. Considering its future land needs, Muş Vocational High School which is on the field of Alparslan Agricultural Enterprise has been provided with a land measured as 104 thousand square meters. However, a part of this land was given to General Directorate of Higher Education Credit and Hostels Institution by the rectorate for the building of female and male students’ dormitories in 1996. Although Muş Vocational High School had only two programs, named as Program of Stock Farming and Construction Program, until 2001-2002, in the same year the number of programs increased to five with the programs of Food Technology, Computer Aided Accounting and Bureau Administration and Secretarial Programme. In 2002- 2003 Dairy Products, Banking and Business Administration Programs were opened and had students. Also, evening education of the Automotive Industry, Furniture Decoration, Electricity, Industrial Electronics and Accountancy Programs were opened in the scope of Vocational and Technical Training and the number of the programs increased to 13.
